A little about ourselvesHey yall! Thank you for visiting my website! I would like to give you a little information about myself. I currently moved back to Columbus, Georgia from Nashville, Indiana in August, 2017. I lived in Indiana for 2 years and loved being there, but there is nothing better than being back home. I have traveled for photography back and forth from Georgia to Indiana and little in between. Right before I moved up to Indiana I got the Muscogee moms choice award in 2015 and since I have been back I have received the readers choice award for favorite photographer in 2018! I am also nominate for favorite photographer for 2019. Those winners will be announced shortly! I love all my clients for helping me reach that goal and voting for me!! I was told almost everyday by my grandmother (who Marilyn Ray Photography is named after) "you can be whoever you want to be. Find your passion, your creative gift, and chase it". So here I am doing just that.
Recent NewsWe recently changed our name from "Southern Touch Photography" to "Marilyn Ray Photography" (I’m sure you have noticed my “Southern Touch Photography” logo on some of the pictures on the site) due to there being an abundance amount of Southern Touch Photography’s on social media. I am super happy for them and don’t wish to take their joy at all, I just personally, think it wasn't good for us as a growing company to have the same name. I was getting confused with others from different states and my clients couldn’t find me quickly. So a change needed to happen. It was extremely scary but here we are!
We just purchased a 1970 VW Bus named Velma Louise! Check out her section to get all the information and see recent pictures we have taken with her!
